A couple of state agencies are offering grant opportunities to provide improved healthcare as well as support work that preserves history.
The PA Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs is making $3 million available to address both behavioral health and primary health needs. Organizations like primary physical health care providers, hospitals, rural health centers, and federally qualified health clinics looking to integrate behavioral health care and primary health care at their practice are asked to apply electronically by noon tomorrow (Friday).
The Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission is accepting applications for $2 million in statewide Keystone Historic Preservation Grants. Local projects that identify, preserve, promote, and protect historic and archaeological resources for the benefit of the public, especially those that align with celebrations of America’s 250th birthday next year can apply for construction or planning grants from $5,000 to $100,000. Webinars for prospective applicants will take place today and tomorrow at 3 p.m. Visit the PHMC website for more information.
