A federal grant will increase the amount of money Pennsylvania allots to fight invasive pests.
Over a million dollars will be coming to the state Department of Agriculture in order to establish a quick response team when they hear of invasive pests.
The department already allots $3.5 million to fight invasive pests, who could cause significant harm to produce or other elements of agriculture.
Officials say quick detection is key in the fight against those pests.
