Cranberry Township will begin its bi-annual ‘Slow-Down Campaign’ today.
Yard signs, radar speed monitors and increased police patrols will be visible in 40 township neighborhoods. The campaign starts Wednesday and runs through Setp. 14.
The program is timed to raise driver awareness of Cranberry’s 25-miles-per-hour residential speed limit at the beginning and end of Seneca Valley School District’s school year. The program was built around a nationwide campaign theme created by the national nonprofit ‘Keep Kids Alive, Drive 25 Foundation.’
Yard signs are now available for pickup by participating Homeowner Associations; radar speed signs will be rotated among the participating neighborhoods.
Neighborhoods which are part of the fall 2018 campaign include:
Autumn Hill, Clearbrook, Cranberry Heights, Cranberry West, Creekwood Commons, Deer Run Condominiums, Deer Run CSA, Ehrman Farms, Freedom Woods, Glen Eden, Glenbrook Manor, Grandshire, Greenfield Estates, Hampshire Woods, Hazelwood Farms, Highland Village, Hunters Creek, Kingsbrook, Lakeview Estates, Manor Creek, Marshall Heights, Marshall Woods, Mystic Ridge, Orchard Park, Park Place, Pinehurst, Preserve East and West, Rochester Village (Park Place Apts.), Shadow Creek, Springfield Manor, Springmeadows, St. Leonard Woods, Stonefield & Farmview, The Crossings, The Villas of Isleworth, Bellvue Park, Walden Pond, Winchester Farms, Winchester Lakes, and Woodbine.
