–The Seattle Kraken opened their Western Conference Series with Dallas with a 5-4 win in overtime.
NBA Playoffs:
–The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Golden State Warriors 117-112 in Game One of their Western Conference Semifinal Series. Anthony Davis led the Lakers with 30 points and 23 rebounds. Davis joins Shaquille O’Neal, Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Elgin Baylor as the only players in Lakers history to have a 30-20 playoff game.
–The New York Knicks defeated the Miami Heat 111-105 to even their Eastern Conference Semifinal Series at 1-1.
