Slippery Rock University in Butler County spent the weekend welcoming their largest freshman class in school history.
Various educational workshops, social activities and tours welcomed the 1,635 freshmen and new students.
Classes at The Rock started Monday. It is also the first day of classes for Butler County Community College students. It’s ‘back to school’ for Karns City students Tuesday. Butler and A-C Valley students start on Wednesday. Seneca Valley School District starts next week.
