Slippery Rock University is getting ready to host a large virtual event later this week.
The Mid-America College Art Association Virtual Conference will begin Wednesday and continue through Saturday using the Zoom platform.
This year’s conference is titled “Defining the Undefined: Art, Education, Technology, and the Mapping of Ourselves”. The gathering will include scholars across many disciplines sharing expertise and perspectives through presentations, papers, panels, performances, and posters.
The current president of MACAA is SRU professor of art Heather Hertel and several SRU professors, alumni, and students will be presenting to nearly 100 attendants from across the country. Registration is available online.
