Slippery Rock University will begin offering a new doctoral program delivered fully online beginning this fall.
The Doctorate of Education in educational leadership and administration degree program is designed to prepare working professionals for leadership positions in higher education, including college and university presidencies.
This program will address the development of knowledge and skills required to lead an institution by establishing an organizational vision, implementing a strategic plan, and engaging in effective decision making. It will also focus on new approaches in such areas as data analytics, finance, budgeting, management, marketing and fundraising.
Courses will be offered online, year-round. The required dissertation seminar also will be made available face-to-face for students desiring such a format.
