Slippery Rock University will hold their winter commencement ceremony this weekend.
Nearly 600 students will receive diplomas Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. inside Morrow Field House. A rehearsal for the event is Friday afternoon at 1:30 p.m.
The ceremony will include 460 graduating seniors and 130 master’s degrees. SRU President Dr. Cheryl Norton will offer welcoming remarks for her next to last commencement ceremony before her retirement in June.
Tickets are required for admission and doors open at 9:30 a.m.
