Several groups of local college students were able to utilize their Spring Breaks to enhance their classroom experiences through trips around the world.
Multiple groups of students at Slippery Rock University, who’s spring break was this past week, traveled with professors for eight day learning experiences related to their degrees. Some trips included communication students traveling to England, with exercise science classes going to Switzerland, and business students traveling to Italy and Costa Rica among other trips.
Slippery Rock University President Dr. Cheryl Norton also participated in the Spring Break programs, going with a class to Italy. After completing their respective trips, students will complete various assignments, such as papers on how their trip impacted their view of their major field.
Classes for SRU students will resume on Monday.
