Student musicians at Slippery Rock University are getting ready for a performance this weekend.
Eleven SRU Flute Studio students will be among those performing Sunday at 7 p.m. in Miller Auditorium as part of the annual Honors Flute Ensemble Concert.
The college students will be joined by a group of at least a dozen middle and high school students selected by judges during an audition process.
The program will feature seven pieces of music including a few premiers. Admission is $5 and tickets can be purchased on the SRU website.
