A local institution was recently named to Princeton Review’s “Green Colleges” list.
Slippery Rock University received the honor for the 16th year in a row by demonstrating continued commitment to sustainable practices.
Over 500 schools have achieved this designation for environmental responsibility with SRU receiving a Green Rating of 89 in the latest list.
According to Princeton Review editors, Green Colleges are determined through a combination of school-reported data and student opinion collected over the past year through surveys.
