The committee formed to find the next president of Slippery Rock University is asking for community input through an event to be held next week.
A town hall meeting is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. next Thursday, April 13 in Room 111 of the Spotts World Culture Building. All SRU students, faculty, and staff are invited to attend.
Those who attend will have the opportunity to ask questions about the search and provide feedback about the skills and attributes they would like to see demonstrated by the next SRU president. Members of the search committee as well as a consultant from the firm hired to help with the search will be on hand.
The presidential search process began in December after Dr. Cheryl Norton announced that she would retire from her position effective July 21, 2017. For more information about the search, visit here.
