Staff at Slippery Rock University continues to work to keep faculty and students connected during this time of ongoing online learning.
The SRU Information and Administrative Technology Services Department along with the SRU Center for Teaching and Learning took the lead when the University announced March 11th that classes would resume online March 30th.
At least 30 laptops were loaned to students who did not have access to the necessary technology and about a dozen more needed help with internet connectivity in order to access video content for classes.
An additional more than 100 laptops were loaned to teachers and staff to help establish hundreds of virtual private network connections. Other support was given to teachers through online training resources.
