There’s still time to catch an art show featuring creations by Slippery Rock University alumni in a wide variety of media.
The “SRU Art Alumni Exhibition” hosted by the SRU Art Department runs through Thursday at the Martha Gault Art Gallery. The Gallery is open Mondays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
More than 20 alumni contributed pieces to the show including ceramics, drawings, fiber arts, metals, paintings, and mixed media.
Each participant paid a $15 entry fee which will be used to fund a scholarship for a current SRU art student. The funding will be awarded at an awards reception Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m.
