Officials at Slippery Rock University say the school continues to defy the odds when it comes to enrollment.
Despite a decline in the number of college-bound students at colleges and universities across the country, SRU’s numbers are up for the 2017 spring semester with an enrollment of just over 8,300 students. That’s an increase of about 1.5 percent over last spring.
University President Cheryl Norton said the school works very hard to make sure they deliver a high-quality education, at an affordable price.
