Slippery Rock University has been named one of the best colleges in the northeastern region by The Princeton Review.
The publication called the school “academically outstanding and well worth consideration in a student’s college search.” SRU was one of only 225 colleges and universities ranked in the region.
The accolade was included on the well-known education services company’s “2019 Best Colleges: Region by Region” website.
Princeton Review editors made their selections based on data collected from a survey of school administrators, as well as its staff visits to the schools and the perspectives of college counselors and advisers.
Enrolled students also reported to the review about their own campus experiences- and those, too, were taken into consideration.
“It is a great compliment to our dedicated faculty and staff to have SRU once again named among the top institutions in the region,” said William Behre, SRU president. “Everyone who works at this institution is dedicated to making sure each of our students receive an excellent education that prepares them for success in life. To have that commitment honored is gratifying.”
