The Slippery Rock University Communications and Public Affairs Office has received nearly 40 awards for their efforts over the past year.
Earlier this month at an awards ceremony in Hershey, the office was honored with nine CUPPIE awards presented by the creative excellence in marketing and communications organization CUPRAP. Nearly 400 entries were received from schools across the state as well as New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, and Wisconsin.
SRU Office of Communications and Public Affairs staff were also recognized with 10 gold, silver, and bronze 2016 Collegiate Advertising Awards. Over 900 total entries were received in that competition from community colleges and universities in the US and Canada.
Finally, staff in the SRU Communication and Public Affairs office will be receiving 18 National Educational Advertising Awards. Those awards are sponsored and distributed by the High Education Marketing Report. More than 2,000 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges in all 50 states and several foreign countries.
