Cadets from Slippery Rock University’s ROTC program will join others across the northeast to honor and march for fallen officers.
The cadets will host their first-ever ‘March for the Fallen’ on Saturday at Moraine State Park. The officers will take part in a ruck march, which is a long-distance training activity with backpacks filled with at least 35 pounds of gear.
Other ROTC units across the country will also take part in the march to honor the memory of soldiers who have fallen while defending our nation.
