The Butler BlueSox lost 7-6 to Springfield Sunday. The Sox scored five in the third inning, but Springfield responded with all seven of their runs in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings. The Sox visit Kokomo tonight. The Altoona Curve defeated the Trenton Thunder 3-2 Sunday. It was the final game prior to the Eastern League All-Star break, being hosted by Trenton Wednesday. Altoona pitchers Taylor Hearn and Sean Keselica, along with infielders Ke’Bryan Hayes and Will Craig will represent the Curve.
