The Butler BlueSox fell to the Champion City Kings 6-5 Sunday in a battle for first place in the Prospect League Eastern Division. The Sox built a 5-2 lead only to see the Kings score four runs via a grand slam home run in the bottom of the eighth inning to take the series. Champion City leads the Sox by 1-1/2 games, with Butler holding on to a playoff spot. The Sox are off today and host Chillicothe Tuesday.
