A couple of crashes in southern Butler County Monday night caused headaches for drivers on their evening commute.
The first occurred just before 5 p.m. on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township. At least one woman was reportedly injured as a result of that accident.
Then a few minutes later, an accident involving multiple vehicles was reported at the intersection of Freedom Road westbound and Executive Drive in Cranberry Township. That caused traffic delays on Route 19 with drivers advised to find alternative routes of travel.
One vehicle reportedly left the scene of the Cranberry Township accident before police arrived on that scene.
