Emergency responders were on the scene of a couple different accidents in southern Butler County Tuesday afternoon.
The first call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 4 p.m. for a crash on Route 228 West near Route 8. Two vehicles were reportedly involved and Middlesex Township units responded to that scene.
The second call came in a minute after for a crash on a ramp onto the PA Turnpike in Cranberry Township. Early reports are that a tractor trailer may have rolled over causing at least one serious injury.
The cause of these crashes as well as the condition of those involved is unknown at this time.
