The South Butler County School District and its teachers union will present their arguments to a state-appointed fact-finder next week.
The presentations will take place next Friday, Aug. 18.
Last month, the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry appointed Jane Desimone to hear the case and attempt to find common ground between the two sides. A contract dispute between the district and its teachers has surpassed three years.
A decision is expected by the end of the month (Aug. 28) at which time both the school board and the teachers will vote to either accept or reject the findings.
