South Butler has chosen a new principal for their Primary School.
The South Butler School Board approved the hiring of Gregory Mandalas Wednesday night. Mandalas will make a salary of $93,000 per year.
Mandalas comes to South Butler after spending more than 17 years in the Karns City School District at Sugarcreek Elementary. He replaces former Primary School Principal David Keibler, who accepted a similar position with the Leechburg Area School District.
Keibler’s last day with South Butler will be on Nov. 18. Mandalas is expected to begin at South Butler on Dec. 1. Other administrators will fill in during the time between principals.
