A South Butler administrator is stepping down.
The South Butler School Board accepted the resignation of Primary School Principal David Keibler (KEY-blur) Wednesday night. The resignation will go into effect once a replacement has been chosen.
Interviews for that position have moved into the second round with a mix of five in-house and outside the district candidates.
Keibler has accepted a similar position with the Leechburg Area School District in a building much closer to where he lives. Keibler has been with South Butler for four years. Before that, he worked as an assistant elementary principal in the Moniteau School District.
