An adults-only meeting Thursday will give Seneca Valley parents a better idea about the pitfalls of technology use by kids.
The Haine Middle School and Evans City Middle School parent teacher organizations are sponsoring a cyber safety assembly called Social Media 101 at 7 p.m. in the HMS Cafeteria. An identical meeting will be held April 25 at the ECMS Cafeteria.
The event will be presented by Phillip Little, who is a cyber security expert assigned to the Pennsylvania Office of the Attorney General’s Education and Outreach Unit.
The presentation will cover the national and local rise in unsafe or inappropriate use of technology, as well as strategies to keep kids safe.
