The “Drive Sober Or Get Pulled Over” campaign began over the weekend and will continue through Labor Day.
Drivers will notice a greater presence of Pennsylvania State Police troopers on the roadways in an effort to encourage sober driving. There was at least one DUI checkpoint held Saturday night in Butler County.
The campaign is an effort of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to reduce impaired driving.
