A Slippery Rock woman was killed after crashing into a tree.
The one-vehicle accident happened about 3 p.m. Sunday in Slippery Rock Township.
State Police in Butler say Nicole McPherson, 41, was traveling eastbound on Branchton Road (near Harmony Road) when she lost control of her Chrysler Pacifica, crossed into the oncoming lane and struck a tree head-on.
Authorities are unsure of what caused her to lose control.
