The county is continuing their preparations for the Can-Am Police-Fire Games set for 2024.
Late last week, the Tourism and Convention Bureau announced that Slippery Rock University will serve as the hub for the games.
The weeklong event features police, firefighters, and other first responders in Olympic-style events.
Tourism officials say SRU offers a great athletic complex perfect for the events.
Other venues including Moraine State Park, Alameda Park, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry will also be utilized during the week of July 15th, 2024.
