After missing a couple years as a result of the pandemic, the public is invited to once again join in an Earth Day celebration this weekend at Slippery Rock University.
SRU Earth Fest is planned for Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. at the Macoskey Center for Sustainability, Education and Research.
The day will include hands-on activities for all ages, craft vendors, live music, horseback riding, and the Go Green Electric Car Show. Food and beverages from local vendors will be available with proceeds from the event going towards Macoskey Center initiatives such as increasing sustainability in the community.
