At least one person has been injured as a result of a multiple vehicle accident that occurred in Slippery Rock Borough Thursday afternoon.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly before 2 p.m. for the crash on South Main Street near the Subway.
Crews from Slippery Rock were among those responding to the scene to find three vehicles involved, including one that was on its side. At least one child was in one of the vehicles but it is not known if the child was injured or required medical treatment.
The cause of the crash and conditions of those involved are unknown at this time. Motorists in the area should expect traffic delays until that scene is cleared.
