One person is facing multiple charges following a fiery weekend crash in Slippery Rock.
State police say 24-year-old Caleb McCartney of Slippery Rock was driving on Franklin Street Sunday night around 10:45 p.m. when he was stopped by police.
He then allegedly sped off and led police on a pursuit through the town.
The chase ended near the college’s football stadium on Harmony Road when McCartney’s car went off the road, flipped over and caught on fire.
McCartney was charged with fleeing police and a DUI. He was taken to the Butler County Prison.
