A Slippery Rock man is facing fraud charges after police say he took money to build a deck that he never completed.
44-year-old Michael Churilla was given a cash advance of nearly $6,000 to build a deck at a home on Cypress Street in Meridian.
Butler Township Police say Churilla never showed up at the home to complete the work.
He is charged with home improvement fraud and receiving stolen property.
