A Slippery Rock native has been charged after escaping from federal custody late last year.
According to the Department of Justice, 42-year-old Walter Cody Tribble left a community corrections center in Pittsburgh called Renewal, Inc on Dec. 3, 2016.
A federal grand jury indicted Tribble. He could face a maximum sentence of up to five years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
The United States Marshals Service assisted with this investigation.
