Fall enrollment numbers at Slippery Rock University are up from last year both in first year students and total students.
Between graduate and undergraduate students, SRU has 8,394 students enrolled this year. That number is an increase of 32 compared to last year.
SRU first year students total 1,547 which is an increase of 12 compared to 2023.
Also retention of first year students going into their second year at SRU is over 84% which is the highest total in the past 20 years and well ahead of the national average of 74%.
