The Butler BlueSox defeated the Quincy Gems 4-3 last night in the Prospect League. Butler native Tyler Slepski picked up his first win of the season, allowing three earned runs over five innings and closer Zach Spangler picked up his eighth save of the season with a perfect ninth inning. David Marcus led the BlueSox with two hits. It was the first trip for Butler into Quincy stadium in five years. The Sox play Quincy again tonight before heading back to Terre Haute for a game Saturday.
