A Butler man is recovering after crashing into a tree in Meridian earlier this week.
According to Butler Township Police, 60-year-old George Diamond was traveling on Meridian Road about 9 a.m. Tuesday when, for some unknown reason, he traveled off the road.
His pickup truck crashed directly into a tree.
Diamond was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital by ambulance for treatment of unknown injuries.
No other vehicles were involved in that accident.
