Police are still searching for the suspect in the fatal shooting of a Philadelphia man at a Butler apartment last week.
According to a criminal complaint filed Friday by Butler City Police, 19-year-old David “Dae Dae” Franklin of Brackenridge, Allegheny County is wanted for homicide in the death of 20-year-old Rashaan Adams.
Butler City Deputy Police Chief David Adam said this morning Franklin is still at large.
“We have no idea where he is,” Adam told the Butler Radio Network. “We’re checking all over.”
Franklin is believed to have lived in the City of Butler in the past with his girlfriend. Adam said detectives have been in contact with her and she is either not talking or does not know where he is.
The shooting happened last Thursday morning at an apartment complex on Wick Street by Butler Memorial Park. Police say the shooting followed an apparent argument over $900.
