A regional convenience store has unveiled a new initiative to help children in need of food during the ongoing public health crisis.
Sheetz has started the Kidz Meal Bagz program to assist families by providing a free meal that includes a turkey sandwich, chips, and a drink.
Participating local Sheetz locations include Center Avenue, New Castle Road, Evans City Road, Route 8 south (Pittsburgh Road), and Route 8 north (North Main Street Extension).
Families can ask for one bag per child by asking the employee at the register. Meals will be available daily while supplies last.
