A western Pennsylvania Sheetz store is making a change to try and deter drug use.
The Freeport Street Sheetz in New Kensington, Westmoreland County has installed a blue light system in their restrooms because officials say the lights make it more difficult for someone to locate a vein to inject opioids.
Sheetz hopes the lighting system will be enough to keep addicts out of their restrooms. If it works, the lighting could be installed in other Sheetz locations.
