The City Manager of Sharon will soon become the Chief Clerk for Butler County.
The Butler County commissioners unanimously appointed Scott Andrejchak, 38, to the role during a meeting Wednesday. He will start May 2 and does plan to relocate to Butler County. He’ll be paid an annual salary of just over $89,000.
Chairman Leslie Osche said a very thorough search process was conducted. The board was looking for a leader who had strong budget and finance skills, while being a good relationship manager.
One of the main roles of the county’s chief clerk is to prepare the county’s budget each year.
Gerry Patterson has been serving as Interim Chief Clerk since January.
