After reaching 90 hot-and-humid degrees on Monday in Butler, things are expected to “cool” off a bit.
Not that cool, though. We’re expecting a high temperature Tuesday of 83 with clouds and potentially rain.
“Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected today with the encroachment of a cold front. There is a chance that an isolated storm or storm-cluster could produce damaging wind gusts of 50 to 60 mph,” according to a Hazardous Weather Outlook issued Tuesday morning by the National Weather Service.
The scattered showers are possible after noon. Tonight it’s expected to be cloudy and in the upper 60s.
