The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette revealed its WPIAL All-Section Basketball teams. Butler junior Tyler Frederick was among the Section 3 Quad-A honorees. Andrew Petcash and Phil Jurkovec were also named to the Section 3 list.
Robby Carmody and John Costello of Mars wee named to the Section 1 Triple-A All-Section list.
Three players from the C.W. North Catholic boys team made the list in Section 2 Single-A.
In Girls Quad-A: Seneca Valley junior Erin Danik was named all-Section 3. Pine-Richland’s Amanda Kalin was named all-section and to the P-G’s Fab Five list.
Mars high school’s Lauren Wasylson and Tai Johnson were named Triple-A All-Section 1. Freeport’s Zoe Soilis was named to the Double-A Section 2 list.
