At least two people, including one child, have been injured as a result of an accident Friday afternoon in Penn Township.
The call came into the Butler County 911 Center just before 4 p.m. for a two vehicle crash in the 200 block of Dinnerbell Road near Rockdale Road and Shelbourne Personal Care.
Crews from Penn Township and Saxonburg were among those arriving on the scene to find two vehicles had hit head on. At least one motorist was entrapped and needed to be cut out of a vehicle while at least two were in need of medical attention.
The extent of injuries is unknown at this time but a STAT Med-Evac helicopter was called to meet emergency responders at the Pittsburgh Butler Regional Airport.
