Despite the Tanglewood Center going up for sale, Butler County Aging officials say nothing is changing with regards to the senior center.
Officials with the Tanglewood Center in Lyndora confirmed the building was for sale. However, they did say there are no immediate changes in operations, other than not renting the hall.
Leaders with the Butler County Area Agency on Aging say they were made aware that the Tanglewood could be making changes to their operations, but they were reassured the Senior Center could continue activities.
Beth Herald, the director of aging, says she continually meets with Tanglewood about their operations and both sides are on the same page. She adds that just in case something were to happen to the Tanglewood Center, they have backup plans prepared.
