A Seneca Valley teacher is leaving today for a trip to study the sites of the Holocaust in Poland.
Senior High School History teacher Jim Lucot was awarded a $5,000 scholarship by Classrooms Without Borders to go on a tour that begins in Warsaw and includes former ghettos and concentration camps.
Lucot will have the chance to speak to survivors and learn from international experts who will act as guides. He will complete a project as part of the scholarship.
Lucot will return Monday, July 4th from Krakow.
