Students at a local school district raised a large amount of money for a good cause with an event last weekend.
176 Seneca Valley students raised nearly $30,000 during Raiderthon last weekend at the Senior High School gymnasium.
This second annual event is modeled after a similar activity at Penn State University where students must participate in activities like dancing for 12 consecutive hours.
The money raised will be donated to the Miracle League of Southwestern PA. This year’s winning team was the Super Heroes who raised nearly $4,000.
