A local high schooler has been chosen to receive a statewide award.
Renfrew resident Lily Ansell is an 18-year-old senior at Seneca Valley High School and was recently honored as the Pennsylvania State Junior Fairperson of the Year.
Ansell is a 4th generation dairy cattle exhibitor at the farm show and her family currently milks 75 cows. She is a member of the Butler Co 4H Dairy Club and is also a member of the Butler Farm Show Jr Board of Directors where she has taken on leadership positions.
Ansell will attend Penn State University this fall.
