A student in the Seneca Valley School District is facing charges for threats he made online that caused schools to move to remote learning last Friday.
The district posted the update online, saying a 14-year-old student in the eighth grade was responsible for making the post on the social media app TikTok.
It’s unclear what threats were made during the post.
The district says the student is facing charges of Terroristic Threats and Disorderly Conduct.
District officials also say that if students or parents see a threat posted online, they should inform police and administration.
