A local school district is being recognized for outstanding sportsmanship.
The Seneca Valley School District has been notified that they will receive the 2014-15 Sportsmanship Award from the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League (WPIAL).
A ceremony to present the award will be held at the Pittsburgh Regional History Center on November 12th.
Seneca was nominated by another school as a result of students promoting and demonstrating the elements of good sportsmanship during last year’s fall, winter, and spring sport seasons.
